Shane Raymond

Shane Raymond is a strategist, problem solver and connector.  His dynamic approach to helping organizations identify and tackle strategic opportunities was honed over his more than 20 years of working with a wide range of businesses and corporations navigate periods of tremendous growth, and in many cases, periods of seismic change and significant organizational challenge.   

 

Shane’s on the job and corporate experience spans tech start-ups to regional companies to global financial services firms and in each of those distinct environments, his focus has been on driving results through disciplined, process-driven strategic planning, optimizing operational models, while ensuring that team members are focused, motivated and “traveling in the same lane”. 

Amidst the pandemic Shane helped successfully lead the small IT services company he was with through the turbulence and season of uncertainty that we all experienced.  The organization entered Q2 2023 at 30 employees and one primary business line but entered 2021 at over 200 employees and a revenue increase of 6x.   

 

In 2023, Shane launched Foreseeable Strategy & Consulting and joined The Bakers Studio as an Operating Member.  Shane works with SME organizations that are looking to stabilize, optimize or simply build on current success with expertise in the areas of strategy, change management, growth enablement & operational excellence.   

 

Having held titles like Chief Strategy Officer, Head of Organizational Change Management, and Division President, Shane brings deep, practical, hands-on experience in helping to set the vision and creating strategic plans that realize that vision in tangible, real world settings.  Shane has facilitated transformational change initiatives including corporate rebranding, implementation of new operating models and corporate restructuring. He also has expertise in navigating mergers and acquisitions, with experience in formal change management processes, employee engagement initiatives and client communications; on both sides of the M&A equation. 

 

While Shane is passionate about the work he does in the office, he is equally passionate about the work he does outside of business hours. He is very active within the community and is an active member of his church. Faith is an important part of who Shane is and guides him both personally and professionally. Outside of the office, he serves on multiple non-profit boards, committees, participates in mission trips abroad and plays the role of church camp counselor each summer!

Shane and his wife, Emily, moved from Minneapolis to Louisville in 2016 along with their three children. The Raymond family includes a violinist, a college lacrosse player, film maker, avid runner and a pickle ball player looking to go pro!
