Summer Goldman
Summer Dixon Goldman is passionate about people. This has been evident throughout her career, beginning with 20+ years in leadership roles within the chemical industry and for 18 years with Farm Credit Mid-America, a $38 billion lending cooperative.
Most of Summer’s roles with FCMA were in leadership positions with increasing levels of responsibility. She served as Regional Vice President leading all sales and operations, Vice President of Business Systems and Processes and, finally as Managing Director Rural 1st Operations. These roles reflect her ability to successfully build and lead new multi-functional teams, develop new processes, implement complex systems, and exceed organizational goals.
In 2022, her passion for people ultimately led to the founding of Dixon Strategies, a consulting practice dedicated to supporting small and mid-sized businesses in aligning their operational strategies with long-term business goals and, of course, supporting the people that are critical to success. Since founding the firm, Summer has worked with a wide range of businesses, from healthcare startups to mid-size manufacturers.
As the hallmark of her career, Summer has worked with individuals and teams to help them define and find success, garner support from organizational leadership, and navigate company structures, processes, and other systems within the workplace. Summer’s professional success has been enabled by setting high standards for herself and those around her, valuing personal and professional development, and intentionally seeking new challenges and never being afraid to go first.
Summer is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky. After spending 15 years throughout the Midwest region, she now happily lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her teenage sons.
